Deep down I'm an idealist with a grip on reality. I try to look for the best in people and am my own worst critic. I'm an easygoing, fun loving guy who enjoys being out in the world. My travels take me far, but I love to explore new places and experiences at home as well. General Description
At this point in my life, after having been single for a number of years, I would like to share my life with someone in a deeper and more consistent way. I am not looking to be dependent on someone or have someone dependent on me. My ideal mate would be based on mutual support, enjoyment of life and learning. The hard times inevitably present themselves but I believe those moments are survivable for partners with open minds and good communication. That is what I strive to find in an ideal partner. If I don't find someone who makes me happier than I make myself that's OK. It's easy to take off your clothes and have sex; people do it all the time, but opening up your soul to someone, letting them into your spirit, thoughts, fears, future, hopes, and dreams....that's being naked. I am looking for someone I can be 'naked' with who doesn't smoke, rarely drinks and leans toward a non-consumerist attitude.
